About Desert Shield Insulation

Built Around Doing the Work Right.

Professional spray foam installation for Arizona homeowners, builders and property owners, with an emphasis on preparation, workmanship and straightforward communication.

Who we are

An Arizona Insulation Company Built Around the Work

We focus on spray foam insulation for Arizona buildings: homes, additions, garages, metal buildings and commercial properties. The work here is shaped by Arizona conditions, from intense roof exposure to hot attics that hold mechanical equipment.

Good outcomes come from understanding the assembly, preparing the work area, and applying the foam with care. Every estimate states the product, the installed thickness and the area covered in writing, so you can compare it against any other bid on equal terms.

What you can expect is clear communication, a defined project scope, and workmanship that holds up.

Three Cities, Three Different Jobs

We work Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe, and those are genuinely different building stocks rather than three names on a map. Central Phoenix brings older homes with shallow attic insulation and ductwork pushed into the attic long after the house was built. Scottsdale brings vaulted ceilings and complex rooflines where insulation continuity breaks at every junction.

Tempe is older and denser again, with post-war block construction that stores heat all afternoon and releases it into the house after dark. Same company, same crew, three different recommendations. That is why the assessment happens before the number.

Preparing a spray foam project
Our approach

Good Spray Foam Work Starts Before the Gun Does.

01

Understand the Assembly

Different attics, walls, roof decks and metal buildings call for different approaches.

02

Prepare the Work Area

Protect the areas that should not receive foam before any spraying begins.

03

Apply With Care

Coverage, transitions, penetrations and the difficult areas all deserve attention.

04

Review the Finished Work

The job is not complete simply because spraying stopped.
